Meet Kathy Ferguson
Kathy Ferguson started Medical Debt Resolutions in 2015 to help ordinary people understand, manage, and resolve their medical bill discrepancies. Since then, she’s saved her clients hundreds of thousands of dollars.
After more than 30 years working as a medical auditor, medical biller and medical collector, Kathy knows how to navigate a medical billing system designed to confuse the average person. She stands up to medical providers, insurance companies, state medical boards and insurance superintendents on behalf of her clients. She understands the complex federal and state laws surrounding medical billing, including the No Surprises Act. This federal law enacted in 2022 gives consumers new protections from surprise medical bills.
